Anti-Bullying Week News Story

At Central Walker Church of England Primary School, we have been proudly celebrating AntiBullying Week, a time to unite and promote kindness, respect, and inclusion. Throughout the week, children have engaged in activities designed to raise awareness about bullying, its effects, and the importance of standing up for each other. From discussions and role-playing scenarios to creative projects, we foster a positive school environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported. On Wednesday, School Council led our Community Worship in which we reflected on what ‘Choose Respect’ means.  In year 2, children made some odd socks and had fun outside creating art in pairs, all about anti bullying! Year 6 took part in discussions about the importance of respect and how this promotes kindness. They then each wrote a pledge to state how we would respect one another and what this would look like. Together, we have learned that small acts of kindness can make a big difference!
